Terms and Conditions
BY SUBMITTING A PHOTO, VIDEO, AND/OR OTHER P22 CONTENT (“P22 CONTENT”) FOR NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION TO CONSIDER INCLUDING IN ITS P-22 CELEBRATION OF LIFE & P-22 ARCHIVES , YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”):
A. SHARING CONTENT
1. P22 CONTENT NWF IS INTERESTED IN FEATURING: NWF is interested in videos and photos of P-22, of people attending P-22-themed events, photos with the P-22 cutout, P-22 murals or other P-22 themed items or exhibits, photos of or at P-22 memorials or tributes.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & LICENSE: Submitters retain ownership and all other rights to future use of their shared P22 Content except for the following: Your submission to the P-22 Celebration of Life & P-22 Archives constitutes your agreement to allow your shared P22 Content — and your name, community, and P22 Content details — to be featured or included in NWF’s P22 Celebration of Life service and related materials, in other NWF publications and educational materials, and on NWF’s websites and social media channels, and you grant to NWF and its licensees a perpetual, non-commercial, worldwide, non-exclusive license to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of your shared P22 Content (along with a name credit) in any NWF media now or hereafter known, and to permit NWF to allow select funders and partners to do the same (along with name credit).
3. REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES: By sharing P22 Content with us, Submitters represent and warrant that:
- their P22 Content is original, does not infringe on any third party’s rights, including intellectual property and/or privacy rights, obtaining any necessary permissions from any third party if a third party or third party’s property or content appear in the shared P22 Content;
- Submitters captured or created P22 content without trespassing and in compliance with applicable laws and wildlife ethics guidelines;
- Submitters have full power and authority to grant the rights and releases under these Terms;
- NWF is not obligated to use any shared P22 Content; and
- Submitters will not receive any payment in connection with them sharing P22 Content.
NWF reserves the right to refuse any shared P22 Content if it finds, in its sole discretion, that any of the foregoing warranties are not true. Decisions of NWF shall be final and binding.
4. PRIVACY POLICY: By providing Submitters’ personal information, such as name, community, and contact information at time of sharing P22 Content, Submitters understand that NWF may use such information to communicate with Submitters for the purposes of administering the P-22 Celebration of Life & P-22 Archives and complying with applicable laws, regulations and rules. Information collected when using NWF’s form to share P22 Content will be used to send Submitters further communications from NWF regarding services, incentives, offers, promotions, or other messaging related to NWF’s mission. Any information collected from NWF shall be used in a manner consistent with these Terms and NWF’s Privacy Policy found at www.nwf.org/Privacy-Policy.
